Our Faith

We love Jesus.  We are so thankful for His sacrifice on the cross that provided a way for us to enter Heaven.  We are thankful for the grace of God in opening our hearts to salvation.  Our prayer is that as you read about our journey you see our love for our Savior and His love for you.

We believe in God the Father, His only son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.  We are overwhelmed by the physical evidence of God in His creation, and astounded by his work in our personal lives.

God’s letter to us, the Bible, has comforted our hearts throughout our process of ‘adding Pages’ to our family.  Romans 8:28 says the following:  “For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.”  We were extremely discouraged at multiple points in our process, but knowing that there is reason behind the struggles helps us push through the tough times.

We try to remember God’s love for us when we feel wronged.  To be honest, we have felt that way at times during out journey.  We strive to remember the following verses: Romans 5:7-8:  “For one will scarcely die for a righteous person, though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die, But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”    We, being sinners, are so undeserving of God’s grace, but God still gave us His Son. 

We pray we don’t forget this during our continuing journey, and we pray God blesses you by following along.
